Sarah Davis To Replace Jenny Dell As NESN’s Red Sox Sideline Reporter

A.B. Last week, NESN spokesman, Gary Roy, confirmed with the Boston Globe that Boston Red Sox sideline reporter, Jenny Dell, was being replaced.

“NESN has an active search for a Red Sox sideline reporter. Jenny Dell, a multi-talented on-air personality, is anchoring NESN Sports Today and handling other assignments for NESN.”

NESN isn’t saying why Dell is being pulled from her reporting duties at Fenway Park, but it’s no secret in Boston that there’s a perceived conflict of interest due to her dating Red Sox third baseman, Will Middlebrooks.

According to a tweet from Rogers Sportsnet Canada anchor and Game Day Hostess for the Toronto Rock Lacrosse Club, Sarah Davis, it appears that just 4 days later, NESN has already found Dell’s replacement.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but if you were looking for a cat fight, it’s not happening… yet.

At least publicly, Dell is thrilled to have Davis as part of the NESN team.

According to Davis’ public LinkedIn profile, she is a graduate of The University of Western Ontario and her previous employers include Fight Network, Bell Media and Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment.

Like many of NESN’s former sideline reporters, she’s easy on the eyes too:
