Patriots, Seahwawks Left Off NFL Final Four In Bud Light Tweet Mistake

tweet fail

A.B. After narrowly escaping a late-game comeback from the San Diego Chargers, Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning was exhausted during his press conference and could only focus on, “how soon I can get a bud light in my mouth.”

Looking to capitalize on the brand-name drop, the PR folks over at Budweiser sent a tweet featuring the 4 remaining NFL playoff teams on their Bud Light cans… or so they thought.

The cans, which should have featured the 49’ers, Seahawks, Patriots and Broncos instead pictured the 49’ers, Broncos… Saints and Colts.

The Colts mistake I could MAYBE understand; Peyton Manning used to play for the Colts. But for an American beer company to mess up 50% of the teams left in the playoffs is inexcusable.

EXCEPT, Budweiser is no longer an American beer. (I know, it’s like when you found out Santa Claus wasn’t real).

Back in 2004, Brazilian based brewing company, InBev, bought Anheuser Busch.

I guess as beer drinking futbol football fans we should just be glad that at least all the team logos were correct. The World Cup starts in Brazil in exactly 5 months, and we could have seen these.

Sidenote – On the bright side, maybe Tom Brady will use this as “underdog motivation.”

Santa’s not real? I think St. Nick needs to have a few words with you.
