A.B. There isn’t much about this on the inter-webs and I’m not sure there is any other picture that shows T-E-A-M-W-O-R-K written across the finger tips of Chara’s gloves. And according to the photo credit this was taken on October 17, 2009 against the Phoenix Coyotes. In other words, a pretty meaningless game.

But I am curious to find out when & why he started doing this and if he still does. The Boston Bruins clearly define the word teamwork and all you have to do is watch one game to understand why. Anytime someone runs Thomas or slashes a player like Bergeron, the other 4 guys on the ice immediately go after anyone in sight.

The Bruins win together and they lose together. T-E-A-M-W-O-R-K defines them.
