8 Alarm Fire On Summer Street In South Boston 12/3/13

A.B. According to the Boston Fire department’s Twitter account, a fire at 327-333 Summer Street, a building that was undergoing renovations, was discovered at 4:29 a.m.

Scanning the BFD’s Twitter timeline, it’s apparent that the blaze went from a 2 alarm to an 8 alarm fire in under an hour.

No injuries/fatalities have been reported and Summer Street from D Street to South Station was closed and will remain closed for most of today.
